Musical 'Maybe Happy Ending' Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Special Appearance by Go Hoon-jung!
Go Hoon-jung, a member of the crossover group Forte di Quattro and a renowned musical actor, is set to make a special appearance in the 10th-anniversary production of the musical 'Maybe Happy Ending,' which premieres on October 31st. Anticipation is soaring as Go Hoon-jung, who previously embodied the character of 'James' from the work's tryout in 2014 through its premiere and encore performances, returns to the stage.
Set in a near-future Seoul, 'Maybe Happy Ending' tells the story of the helper bots 'Oliver' and 'Claire' discovering the emotion of love. This acclaimed work by Will Aronson and Hue Park, which achieved six Tony Awards after its successful Broadway debut, sparked a 'Happy Ending Syndrome.'
For this 10th-anniversary run, Go Hoon-jung will reprise his role as 'James,' the former owner of the helper bot 'Oliver.' Audiences are eagerly awaiting his performance, expecting his deepened artistic prowess and fresh interpretation of the character, whom he originally helped define.
Since his debut in the musical 'Spring Awakening' in 2009, Go Hoon-jung has established a strong presence through numerous musicals and plays, including 'The Great Comet' and 'Mamma Mia!'. In 2016, he gained significant recognition in the crossover music scene by winning the first season of JTBC's 'Phantom Singer' as part of the group Forte di Quattro. He is currently recognized as a versatile artist pushing genre boundaries with continuous endeavors in dramas and films.
