KCM Tears Up Recounting 13 Years of Hiding Family Due to Debt

Singer KCM became emotional while recounting the painful experience of hiding his family for 13 years due to past debts.

During the broadcast of TV CHOSUN's entertainment show 'Joseon's Lover' on the 15th, KCM appeared and candidly shared his struggles with parenting and his family history. Kim Byung-man, who lives in Jeju Island, introduced KCM as a 'parenting senior' to meet and exchange stories.

KCM revealed that he is married with two children and is expecting a third child. He explained that the reason he couldn't reveal his family for 13 years was due to 'debt.' Regarding the difficult situation where he had to keep his family hidden because of financial issues, KCM expressed his gratitude, saying, 'My wife waited for a long time.' He also honestly confessed, 'Regardless of my situation, I felt sorry and regretted the time spent hiding my family from my wife and children.'

Kim Byung-man empathized deeply, sharing his own experiences. He recalled, 'Before going public, I would buy all my children's toys, but I was anxious, wondering if people would ask about them if they saw them. Also, there were many family photos at home where I was absent.' KCM also teared up, mentioning experiences like attending his first child's elementary school graduation wearing a mask and being unable to attend sports days, which still weighs on his heart.

However, KCM showed a positive outlook, smiling and saying, 'Still, you (referring to Kim Byung-man) will be able to create many more good memories than I could.' He added, 'We currently have a third child on the way. I'm trying harder than I did with my second child, and since parenting is enjoyable, I feel I can do even better with the third one.'
