Netflix's hit series 'The Trauma Center' is reportedly gearing up for a potential second season, sparking immense excitement among its global fanbase.
A Netflix representative shared with Sports Seoul on the 23rd, "We are considering a follow-up season for 'The Trauma Center,' but nothing has been confirmed yet."
Based on a popular web novel of the same name, the drama chronicles the thrilling journey of genius surgeon Baek Kang-hyuk (played by Ju Ji-hoon), a former battlefield surgeon who takes on the challenge of reviving a failing trauma team.
Since its release in January, 'The Trauma Center' has garnered significant acclaim both domestically and internationally. This success led to lead actor Ju Ji-hoon winning the Best Actor Award in the Television category at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards. Co-star Chu Young-woo, who plays Yang Jae-won, also swept rookie awards, rapidly ascending to stardom.
