LUNA Launches in Japan with Brand Ambassador REI, Successfully Hosting Offline New Product Event
Makeup brand LUNA is accelerating its expansion into the Japanese market, having successfully hosted an offline launch event for its new products.
The event, held on the 22nd at Hikarie Hall in Shibuya, Tokyo, celebrated the launch of the 'LUNA Grinding Concealer' in the presence of brand ambassador REI.
During the press conference, REI shared her personal experience and beauty tips using the new product, engaging directly with Japanese consumers.
Following this, renowned local makeup artist Yukari Hayashi presented a makeup show utilizing various LUNA products. She particularly highlighted LUNA's signature coverage for achieving a flawless, matte complexion, receiving enthusiastic responses from influencers and industry professionals in attendance.
The 'LUNA Grinding Concealer' is a unique balm-type concealer that allows users to grind out the desired amount, offering high coverage with a smooth, buttery application that avoids a stiff texture.
A LUNA representative stated, "Through this event, we aim to further enhance brand recognition in the Japanese market and strengthen our marketing efforts with differentiated products that reflect global customer needs."
LUNA has been actively engaging with Japanese consumers through various marketing initiatives, including the 'Welcome to REI's Room' pop-up store in Tokyo's Ginza Loft in June, inspired by its ambassador REI.
LUNA is a color cosmetics brand under Amorepacific, launched in 2010. It is cherished by consumers worldwide for its innovative formulations and accessible price points. This Japanese launch is expected to serve as a crucial stepping stone for LUNA's global market expansion.
