The highly anticipated sequel to the global musical blockbuster 'Wicked' is finally arriving. The film 'Wicked: For Good' has confirmed its world premiere in South Korea on November 19th, heightening anticipation among fans.

'Wicked: For Good' tells the story of Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), the 'wicked witch' feared for her true nature, and Glinda (Ariana Grande), the 'good witch' who fears losing popularity, as they journey to find their true friendship.

The previous installment achieved a global box office revenue of $756.42 million, dominating cinemas in the winter of 2024.

The newly released poster dramatically contrasts Elphaba and Glinda, hinting at their diverging destinies. At the end of Part 1, Elphaba faced a crisis due to the schemes of the Wizard of Oz and Madam Morrible, while Glinda stood by her side.

The determined expressions in the poster, juxtaposed with contrasting backdrops, intensify curiosity about the challenges and events the two will face as they walk separate paths based on their choices. Furthermore, following Part 1, the intense confrontation between Elphaba and the Wizard, along with dazzling magical moments filling the screen, is set to unfold.

The film 'Wicked: For Good' is based on the critically acclaimed Broadway musical of the same name, which premiered in 2003 and achieved worldwide success. While the first film explored the characters' pasts and the beginnings of their conflict, the second installment will focus on the evolution of their relationship and the adversities they overcome. The movie is expected to leave a profound impression not only on musical fans but also on new audiences with its stunning visuals and moving storytelling.
