Jang Sung-kyu and Kang Ji-young Reunite as MCs for 'From A to Z' After 14 Years
Broadcaster Jang Sung-kyu has expressed his excitement about co-hosting the new Tcast E channel program 'From A to Z' with his 14-year colleague, announcer Kang Ji-young.
'From A to Z' is a unique knowledge chart show that explores various fields like history, culture, science, and travel, all centered around the universal theme of 'food'. The chemistry between Jang Sung-kyu and Kang Ji-young, who were freshman colleagues 14 years ago, is anticipated to be a major highlight.
Recalling their first meeting, Jang Sung-kyu shared, "I was impressed by the earnestness of a 23-year-old, unadorned college student competing fiercely with her seniors." He added, "Now, to be working together with Kang Ji-young, who is married and a respected opinion leader, brings a unique and profound emotion."
He emphasized how their 14-year bond has become a significant source of strength during the show's recordings. "I hope Kang Ji-young and I, like a 'vitality tonic', can offer viewers a small boost of energy," he remarked.
Jang Sung-kyu also candidly shared his experiences as a freelancer. While grateful for the continuous work over the past five to six years, he admitted to living with an underlying anxiety that it could end at any moment, driving him to remain vigilant. He vowed to use these challenges as fuel to overcome his shortcomings and present an improved version of himself to industry professionals and viewers alike.
'From A to Z' is set to premiere on September 29th (Monday) at 8 PM on Tcast E channel.
