
Comedian Jeon Yu-seong Hospitalized for Pneumothorax; Condition Stabilizing
Veteran comedian Jeon Yu-seong has been hospitalized due to symptoms of pneumothorax, a condition involving air leaking into the space between the lung and chest wall.
Reports indicate that Jeon was admitted recently as his breathing difficulties, stemming from a previous pneumothorax treatment in June, worsened. Initial concerns about his critical condition were dispelled by a representative, who stated, "He is conscious and currently hospitalized for treatment due to difficulty breathing freely."
Jeon Yu-seong underwent a procedure for pneumothorax back in June and had been experiencing respiratory issues since. His condition reportedly deteriorated recently, prompting him to seek medical attention again. He is currently recovering consciousness and receiving treatment in a stable condition.
Born in 1949, Jeon Yu-seong is 76 years old and began his career as a broadcast writer in 1969. He gained widespread popularity through appearances on numerous hit comedy shows. Some of his notable works include 'Humor 1st Street', 'Gag Concert', and 'Good Friends'.
