BTS MOVIE WEEKS Kicks Off: Four Concert Films Digitally Remastered for Immersive Cinema Experience
The highly anticipated 'BTS MOVIE WEEKS' is set to commence, bringing the electrifying performances of global sensation BTS back to the big screen. The event officially launches on September 24th across theaters nationwide.
This special cinema event will feature four of BTS's iconic concert films, meticulously remastered in stunning 4K ultra-high definition with immersive 5.1 surround sound. To enhance the concert atmosphere, all screenings will be presented in a sing-along format, allowing fans to freely express their excitement by singing and cheering, replicating the energy of a live concert.
Following a successful premiere screening on September 23rd, 'BTS MOVIE WEEKS' will run until October 21st. The program is structured weekly: the first week showcases concert films from 2016 and 2017, followed by 2019 and 2021 in the second week. All four films will be screened during the third and fourth weeks. International screening schedules may vary by region and can be found on the official 'BTS MOVIE WEEKS' website.
Exciting merchandise and fan benefits are also in store for attendees. A mini slogan, featuring unique phrases and designs for each concert film, will be given to all audience members on a first-come, first-served basis. During the first two weeks, fans can also receive Megabox's signature original ticket. These tickets, designed with the mood of each film's poster, have a special feature where connecting the backs of all four designs completes the 'ARMY, YOU READY? LIGHT IT UP!' slogan, adding significant collectible value. All promotional items are available while supplies last.
In addition to the screenings, a special exhibition will be held at Megabox COEX from September 23rd to October 21st, accompanied by various online and offline events. 'BTS MOVIE WEEKS' promises to be more than just a movie viewing; it's an opportunity for fans to relive cherished moments with BTS and share the concert emotions once again.
BTS, or Bangtan Sonyeondan, debuted in 2013 and quickly rose to global superstardom with their authentic music and powerful performances. The group's name initially meant 'Bulletproof Boy Scouts,' signifying their mission to protect younger generations from the prejudices and pressures of society, but later evolved to encompass the broader meaning of 'producing music that travels from Korea to Asia and the world.' They are known for their social messages, impactful lyrics, and dedicated fanbase, ARMY.
