Jang So-yeon Recalls Deep Immersion in 'Something in the Rain,' Dreaming of Co-stars
Actress Jang So-yeon recently shared her intense dedication during the filming of the drama 'Something in the Rain' on the show 'Radio Star.'
Jang explained her deep acting immersion, stating, "When I'm acting, I tend to get really absorbed. Even when we weren't filming 'Something in the Rain,' I would go to Kyeong-seon's (Son Ye-jin's character) house, sleep over, and leave my belongings there, treating it like my own home."
She also expressed gratitude towards her co-stars, particularly Son Ye-jin. "It was my first time meeting Son Ye-jin, but we played best friends in the drama. Even though it could have been awkward, she completely trusted me during our first scene, especially my drunk acting. I really liked that, and we became like real friends," Jang conveyed.
Highlighting her character immersion, Jang humorously added, "I got so into the character that Son Ye-jin and Jung Hae-in even appeared in my dreams. I thought, 'Am I going crazy?' when they showed up in my dreams." She playfully commented on a recent dating reality show appearance, wondering, "If I had been more immersed in 'Omanchu,' maybe it would have worked out," eliciting laughter.
Jang So-yeon debuted in 2006 with the film 'S.O.S - Disappear' and has since built a career with her nuanced emotional performances and naturalistic acting style. She has consistently impressed audiences with her scene-stealing roles in various projects. In recent times, she has also been showcasing her approachable personality through appearances on variety shows, in addition to her acting endeavors.
