EXO's Chanyeol to Debut Solo in Japan with Mini-Album 'THE DAYS'

EXO member Chanyeol is set to make his solo debut in Japan, following his successful endeavors in Korea.

Chanyeol will release his first Japanese mini-album titled ‘日々’ (Hi bi) on October 22nd. Prior to the album's release, all six tracks from the mini-album will be pre-released on various global music platforms at midnight on the 26th, heightening anticipation among fans.

The album is themed around the preciousness of everyday life, promising relatable content for listeners. The title track, ‘ずるいよ’ (Zurui yo), features bright brass sounds and conveys the complex emotions of longing for someone unattainable while simultaneously wanting to fall deeper.

Fans can also look forward to other new songs, including ‘考えてみたら’ (Kangaete mitara) and ‘Tokyo Tower’, on which Chanyeol participated in both lyrics and composition, adding his personal touch. The album also includes ‘Cherry’, depicting romantic moments, ‘UP TO YOU’, delivering messages of infinite trust and support, and ‘Trace’, an anthem of self-affirmation, showcasing a variety of musical styles.

In celebration of his Japanese solo debut, Chanyeol will hold the 'CHANYEOL JAPAN TOUR 2025 -The Days-'. He is scheduled to meet and interact with local fans in four cities: Aichi on October 4th, Fukuoka on the 8th, Osaka on the 10th, and Kanagawa on the 27th.

Chanyeol previously topped the iTunes Top Album Charts in 26 regions worldwide with his second mini-album ‘Upside Down’, released in August, demonstrating his significant global popularity.

Chanyeol is known for his versatile musical talents as a rapper and guitarist within the group EXO. Beyond his music career, he has also been actively pursuing acting roles, expanding his artistic horizons. His music often resonates with fans through messages of hope and comfort.
