DJ DOC's Lee Han-eol Vindicated: Ju B-Trainee and Agency Rep Sent to Prosecutors Over Defamation Claims
Ju B-Trainee (real name Joo Hyun-woo), a member of Bugakingz, and his agency representative, Mr. Lee, have been sent to the prosecution for allegedly spreading false information and defaming DJ DOC's Lee Han-eol.
Funky Town, Lee Han-eol's agency, announced on the 25th that the two individuals had engaged in malicious slander and acts of insult against their artist.
According to Funky Town, the pair intentionally damaged Lee Han-eol's reputation through social media and media outlets. They also filed multiple lawsuits and complaints, and persistently harassed artists and company staff by forcibly inviting them to group chats to sow discord.
Funky Town expressed that the decision to send the case to prosecutors is a fortunate and rightful outcome for Lee Han-eol, who has endured a difficult period.
Previously, in April, Funky Town had stated that Joo Hyun-woo and Mr. Lee had obstructed business through fraud and embezzlement during their tenure at Funky Town. Following their dismissal, they allegedly spread fabricated stories through social media and media to tarnish Lee Han-eol's image.
Funky Town extended apologies to fans who were hurt by the situation and to the public who may have been misled, emphasizing their firm stance against unfounded defamation and false claims moving forward.
Lee Han-eol, the main rapper and leader of the iconic K-hip hop group DJ DOC, has been active in the music industry since 1994. Beyond his musical endeavors, he has gained significant popularity through various variety show appearances. Despite recent controversies surrounding personal matters, he has continued to navigate his career with resilience.
