
Im Soo-hyang Reveals She Took Medication for 3 Months After 'Ttanhan Hyung' Appearance Due to Acute Hepatitis
Actress Im Soo-hyang shared a surprising anecdote about her appearance on the variety show 'Ttanhan Hyung', revealing she had to take medication for three months due to suffering from acute hepatitis.
Appearing on the MBC show 'Radio Star' on the 24th, Im Soo-hyang recalled her time promoting the drama 'Beauty and the Liar' on 'Ttanhan Hyung'. She explained, "Ji Hyun-woo had to moderate his drinking due to filming, so it was just me, and I ended up drinking a lot." She admitted that she tends to drink heavily when she does indulge, despite usually experiencing severe hangovers.
Due to excessive drinking on that occasion, Im Soo-hyang was diagnosed with acute hepatitis. "I had to take medication for three months after that appearance," she confessed, adding that the hangover was so severe she couldn't function normally for a week and experienced intense nausea and vomiting.
Im Soo-hyang elaborated, "I felt a sense of responsibility to liven up the atmosphere and be entertaining," explaining her reason for drinking so much. She has since resolved to refrain from drinking alcohol while filming dramas.
