Han Sun-hwa Moved to Tears by 'First Ride' Co-Stars' Warm Messages
Actress Han Sun-hwa expressed her deep gratitude towards her fellow actors in the upcoming film 'First Ride,' becoming visibly emotional during a press event.
The production presentation for 'First Ride,' held on the 25th at CGV Yongsan IPARK Mall, was attended by director Nam Dae-jung and lead actors Kang Ha-neul, Kim Young-kwang, Kang Young-seok, and Han Sun-hwa. The movie is a comedy centered around four lifelong friends embarking on their first overseas trip together.
When asked about a lengthy text message he sent to Han Sun-hwa, Kang Ha-neul praised her diligent preparation. "Sun-hwa prepared so thoroughly that her script was practically falling apart," he remarked. "I felt like I was the one who received help, but seeing her level of preparation for the movie was something I was truly grateful for." He also mentioned that she gifted all the cast members with letters and presents, and he was particularly touched by her heartfelt message.
Responding to Kang Ha-neul's sincere words, Han Sun-hwa became tearful. "As I was the first to finish filming and heading to the airport, I sent messages to everyone expressing my thanks while in the car," she shared, her voice trembling. "I think we grew quite close in that short time."
She continued, "Ha-neul oppa, as a leader, was someone I relied on a lot on set. He left me with many encouraging words. I kept those words in my heart during the next shoot and thought I had to work even harder." Her emotions were palpable as she struggled to hold back tears.
Han Sun-hwa debuted as a member of the girl group Secret and has since built a successful career as a solo artist and actress. She has solidified her acting career with impressive performances in numerous dramas and films, showcasing her stable acting skills. In 'First Ride,' she plays 'Ok-sim,' one of the four best friends, promising to deliver her unique charm and comedic timing.
