Former Girl's Day Member Hwang Ji-sun Signs Exclusive Contract with Dabui&M, Embarks on Acting Career

Hwang Ji-sun, who successfully transitioned from singing to acting, has officially signed an exclusive contract with Dabui&M, signaling her full-fledged return to the entertainment scene as an actress.

Debuting in 2010 as a member of the popular K-pop group Girl's Day, Hwang Ji-sun departed the group the same year to pursue acting. She has since carved out her own niche, performing in both dramas and musical theater.

In 2022, she married Yeo Hoon-min, a member of the group U-KISS, and has continued to impress audiences with her stable career following marriage and family.

Dabui&M recognized Hwang Ji-sun's potential and expressive talent, leading to this new partnership. A representative from the agency stated, "Hwang Ji-sun possesses rich emotions, deep expressive capabilities, and a captivating presence that balances static charm with a lyrical atmosphere." They added, "Her nuanced emotional expression and immersion skills make her a highly promising actress with the potential to shine across various genres, including dramas and OTT platforms."

I've always wanted to grow further in a new environment, alongside my fans who have supported me since my debut." Currently, Hwang Ji-sun is reviewing several scripts and is slated to meet viewers again in the latter half of the year through an upcoming OTT drama and a short-form drama.

Hwang Ji-sun debuted as a member of Girl's Day in 2010 but left the group the same year to focus on acting. She has since performed in dramas and musicals, building her own unique acting style. In 2022, she married Yeo Hoon-min of U-KISS, starting a family while continuing her career.
