Actress Park Gyu-young shared her thoughts on her character 'Jae-yi' and her action sequences in the Netflix film 'The Behemoth'.

At the film's production presentation held on the 25th, Park expressed her excitement about joining a spin-off that expands the universe of 'Kill Boksoon'. She stated, "I was such a big fan of 'Kill Boksoon' that I watched it more than five times. When I received the offer, I knew I had to be a part of it."

Park's character, 'Jae-yi', is a fellow trainee and rival to the protagonist 'The Behemoth', and has been close to 'The Behemoth' since childhood. Park explained, "'Jae-yi' possesses exceptional skills but is constantly seeking something more. She loves 'The Behemoth' but also feels a sense of jealousy, making her a complex character."

Regarding the greatsword, 'Jae-yi's' primary weapon, Park revealed, "The greatsword requires long, sweeping movements. In reality, it was heavy and its tip tended to sway, so I practiced extensively at the action school." She humorously recalled during filming, "Seeing the passionate performances of the senior actors, I felt like all I had to do was my best."

She further hyped the film, saying, "'The Behemoth' is an extension of the 'Kill Boksoon' universe, unfolding the stories of new killers."

Park Gyu-young made her debut in the 2016 web drama 'Summer Guys'. Since then, she has garnered attention for her unique performances in various projects like 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay', 'Sweet Home', 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo', and 'Celebrity'. She is widely loved for her solid acting skills and captivating visuals.
