Actress Eugene has captured attention by revealing the fascinating love story with her husband of 15 years, Ki Tae-young.

Appearing on KBS 2TV's 'Problem Child in House', Eugene shared the full story from their first meeting, dating phase, to marriage. Notably, she surprised everyone by disclosing that Ki Tae-young proposed with the words, 'Let's live together for 50 years.'

"When my husband proposed, he said let's live together for 50 years. Hearing that, I decided to get married right away," Eugene shared. "15 years have already passed, but it feels like time has flown by so quickly, not feeling like 15 years at all. I think 50 years will pass just as fast."

The couple, who first met on the drama 'Making a Relationship', saw Eugene shyly admit that she might have made the first move. Initially, she felt a wall between them as co-actors, but after the 31-episode drama concluded, she found herself drawn to Ki Tae-young's humorous side during a visit to a jjimjilbang (Korean sauna) together.

Following this, Eugene asked for his phone number first. She explained that the distance between them shortened when, after filming wrapped up and they met outside, Ki Tae-young started talking about his own dating life. She specifically recalled that after a breakup, during her difficult times, Ki Tae-young offered comfort and shared life stories, leading to conversations that unexpectedly lasted an hour.

Regarding her decision to marry Ki Tae-young, Eugene expressed, "I felt a strong conviction that I would live a good life marrying this man. I could picture our married life together." She added, "I think our views on marriage aligned well. He is a very sacrificing person." Meanwhile, Ki Tae-young successfully surprised her with a romantic proposal just a week or two before their wedding, decorating their new home with a flower path, lighting candles, and playing a self-composed song titled 'Oh My Fairy', which he wrote for the proposal.

On the broadcast, Eugene showcased her unwavering affection for her husband Ki Tae-young even after 15 years of marriage, sharing sweet newlywed episodes that garnered envy from viewers.
