Comedian Park Jun-hyung paid tribute to the late Jeon Yu-seong on the 26th, expressing his condolences.

Park shared cherished memories with Jeon via his social media account, recalling an event in June where a bookshelf dedicated to books written by comedians was established at Namsan Library. He revealed that this idea originated from the late Jeon Yu-seong.

Park recounted Jeon's suggestion that it would be good to categorize and collect the many books written by comedians. He also remembered assisting Jeon, who felt dizzy while giving a congratulatory speech at an official event, by holding his hand throughout his address. "His hands were thin and frail, but his spirit and humor while speaking were truly remarkable," Park reminisced.

Expressing his sorrow that it was only three months ago, Park added, "Life feels so short today. However, I believe he has left behind a long legacy of laughter. I hope he rests peacefully in a better place now. Please, I truly hope so."

Meanwhile, the late Jeon Yu-seong passed away on the 25th due to worsening symptoms of pneumothorax, at the age of 76. Following his last wishes, his funeral will be conducted as a "comedian's service," with the memorial altar set up at Asan Medical Center in Seoul. Born in 1949, Jeon Yu-seong is remembered not just as a comedian but as a versatile figure who left an indelible mark as a broadcast writer, performance planner, and film director.

Park Jun-hyung debuted in 1999 as a member of the group g.o.d. and continues to be active in the entertainment industry. He is widely loved for his witty remarks and honest charm on variety shows. Beyond his activities with g.o.d., he has showcased his talents in various fields including acting and musicals.
