Han Ji-hyun and Oh Ye-ju Join MBC's 'In Your Brilliant Season', Co-starring with Lee Sung-kyung

Actress Han Ji-hyun and Oh Ye-ju are set to star in MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama 'In Your Brilliant Season,' generating significant anticipation.

Both actresses have accepted roles in the drama, which is slated for broadcast in the first half of next year. 'In Your Brilliant Season' tells the story of Chan (played by Chae Jong-hyeop), a man living like an endless summer vacation, and Ran (played by Lee Sung-kyung), a woman who has frozen herself in winter, as they meet by fate and break through their frozen times in an unpredictable romance.

Han Ji-hyun will portray Song Ha-young, a designer at 'Nana Atelier,' forming one of the three sisters alongside Lee Sung-kyung's character, the head designer Song Ha-ran. Oh Ye-ju will take on the role of Song Ha-dam, the youngest of the three sisters and a high school student, adding vibrancy to the drama's core narrative.

The drama boasts a collaboration between writer Jo Sung-hee, known for 'Seventeen But Thirty,' and director Jung Sang-hee, recognized for her delicate direction in 'Fanletter, Please.' This partnership promises a compelling story and refined execution.

'In Your Brilliant Season' is currently in full production and aims to premiere in the first half of next year.

Han Ji-hyun is an alumna of the Korea National University of Arts' School of Drama, debuting in the web drama 'Soul Driver' in 2017. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Joo Seok-kyung in the SBS series 'The Penthouse' starting in 2020. She has since expanded her acting range through various projects including 'Cheer Up,' 'Because I Want to Love,' and the Netflix film 'The Revelation.' Her recent work, 'The Face,' despite its ultra-low budget, garnered over 810,000 viewers, demonstrating her box-office potential.
