Jung Il-woo Embarks on a Secret Tail: What Lies Behind the Trio's Growing Closeness?

Actor Jung Il-woo is stepping into the shoes of a detective in the upcoming episodes of 'The Midnight Studio'.

The 15th and 16th episodes of KBS 2TV's weekend drama 'The Midnight Studio' (airing Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th at 8 PM KST) will see Lee Ji-hyuk (played by Jung Il-woo) grow suspicious of the increasingly close bond between Ji Eun-oh (Jung In-sun), Park Sung-jae (Yoon Hyun-min), and Oh Soo-jung (Lim Young-joo).

After a period of absence, Ji-hyuk returned to find his friends had become unusually chummy without him. He starts to question what common ground they could possibly share. Witnessing Sung-jae's affectionate gestures towards Eun-oh, Ji-hyuk even experiences a pang of jealousy.

Newly released stills capture Ji-hyuk disguised in sunglasses, secretly tailing the trio. Unaware they are being followed, Eun-oh, Sung-jae, and Soo-jung appear to be enjoying themselves as they head to an undisclosed location. Ji-hyuk's expression as he trails them reveals a mix of curiosity and determination to uncover their secret.

In another scene, Eun-oh and Sung-jae are engrossed in a game at a PC bang, while Ji-hyuk observes them from a distance. The realization that their secret hideout is merely a humble PC bang brings a look of anticlimax to his face.

Ji-hyuk's decision to secretly follow them, fueled by his feelings of being left out and his jealousy over Eun-oh and Sung-jae's relationship, is set to stir up the dynamics of their complex love triangle. Episode 15 of 'The Midnight Studio' airs this Saturday at 8 PM KST.
