Comedian Im Mi-sook Mourns Passing of Late Jeon Yu-seong

Comedienne Im Mi-sook has expressed profound sorrow and longing for the late comedian Jeon Yu-seong, who passed away on the 25th.

Im took to her social media to mourn Jeon, affectionately calling him 'My Uncle, Yu-seong Ahjussi.' She remembered him as the 'godfather of comedy' and 'eternal copywriter' who always generously offered ideas and support.

She recalled a housewarming plaque gifted by Jeon during her wedding in 1990, bearing the words 'Our Happy Home,' which still hangs by her front door. Im conveyed her gratitude and love, stating, 'I miss you already, Uncle,' and 'You will always live in my heart.'

Jeon Yu-seong passed away due to complications from pneumothorax. His wake is being held at Seoul Asan Medical Center, Room 1, with the funeral procession scheduled for 7 AM on the 28th.

Im Mi-sook debuted as a comedian through KBS's special recruitment in 1984. She gained popularity through active participation alongside top comedians of the era such as Jeon Yu-seong and Shim Hyung-rae. Im Mi-sook continues to communicate with the public through broadcasting and lectures.
