Hong Hyun-hee and Jasson Reveal Contrasting Personalities in Compatibility Test

Comedian Hong Hyun-hee and interior designer Jasson, a married couple, have revealed starkly different personality traits after undergoing a compatibility test.

The results were shared in a recent YouTube video uploaded to their channel, 'Hong Hyun-hee Jasson's Hong-sseun TV,' titled 'Hong-sseun Couple's Personality Test Results…! We Didn't Know It Was This Bad.'

During their visit to a psychiatric clinic for the test, the couple discovered their temperaments and personalities were polar opposites in most categories. The only shared trait identified was a high level of 'thrill-seeking.'

A notable difference emerged in their 'harm avoidance' levels, with Hong Hyun-hee scoring high and Jasson scoring low. The specialist explained that high harm avoidance indicates a preference for securing the present over the future, leading to a desire for novelty coupled with apprehension. Conversely, Jasson was described as someone unafraid to pursue new experiences.

Their 'self-direction' levels also showed a significant divergence. Jasson ranked in the top 1% for self-direction, demonstrating strong leadership and initiative. In contrast, Hong Hyun-hee's score was notably low, akin to that of a toddler.

Hong Hyun-hee admitted, "It's embarrassing, but I even ask Jasson when our child should take their medicine because I worry about making the wrong decision." She also expressed a desire for a personal trainer to push her into exercising.

Jasson recounted his past attempts to be more directive, stating, "I tried that about five years ago, but it was too difficult. My personality clashed, and schedules got messy. I ended up thinking, 'Forget it, it's too much trouble,' because we're so comfortable with each other."

The specialist offered insight into their dynamic, suggesting, "That's why you're a couple. If Hong Hyun-hee were a stranger, Jasson might have pushed his way, but at least in front of him, she can refuse and say 'I won't.'" He added, "It would be too difficult if it were like that at home all the time. If she had to force herself to do things her husband wanted, she'd have no one to show her true self to. The fact that she thinks of her husband that way is significant."

Furthermore, Hong Hyun-hee's higher score in 'self-transcendence' means she finds deep emotional resonance in natural landscapes. Jasson's dreams of camping in New Zealand and visiting Hawaii also point to a shared appreciation for nature, fueled by their high thrill-seeking trait. The specialist advised them to start with smaller goals, noting, "Your dreams are New Zealand, Hawaii, and trekking with the child. Because your thrill-seeking is so high, you think from level 10. It's difficult. You need to start from the lower levels."
