Comedian Jeon Yu-seong Passes Away; Ex-Partner Jin Mi-ryeong Mourns from Abroad

Comedian Jeon Yu-seong, a prominent figure in the Korean comedy scene, has sadly passed away due to illness. It has been revealed that his former common-law wife, singer Jin Mi-ryeong, could only send a floral tribute due to her overseas schedule.

According to reports on the 26th, Jin Mi-ryeong is currently abroad fulfilling prior commitments. Her schedule makes it difficult to return to Korea on short notice. As a result, she was unable to attend the funeral in person.

While many colleagues from the comedy world, fellow celebrities, and figures from the arts and culture community paid their respects, Jin Mi-ryeong expressed her condolences through a wreath and monetary gifts. She conveyed her sorrow to Jeon Yu-seong's family via acquaintances.

Jin Mi-ryeong and Jeon Yu-seong were married in 1993 and divorced in 2011. Their relationship was a common-law marriage, as they had not registered their marriage.
