VERIVERY Poised for Comeback After Two Years, Hints at Yoo Kang-min's Return

K-pop group VERIVERY is gearing up for a highly anticipated comeback, marking their return to the music scene after approximately two years.

During a live broadcast on the 25th, the members shared the exciting news, stating, “We are working hard to prepare our album with a goal to make a comeback within this year,” much to the delight of their fans.

Member Dong-heon Lee mentioned, “We are diligently working on the songs and the overall structure is taking shape.” He further elaborated, “We initially prepared it for four members, but now we are adjusting it for a five-member version.” This statement indirectly hinted at the potential return of Yoo Kang-min, who narrowly missed the final top 9 in the recent Mnet survival show ‘Boys Planet 2’.

He added, “We want to create music that tells our story. We will do our best to meet you all soon,” expressing their eagerness to reconnect with their fanbase.

VERIVERY has been on a hiatus since releasing their 7th mini-album, ‘Liminality - EP.DREAM,’ in May 2023. This upcoming comeback is expected to signify a new chapter and a significant leap forward for the group.

VERIVERY debuted in 2019 under Jellyfish Entertainment, consisting of seven members. They are known for their powerful performances and have cultivated a distinct musical identity through member participation in songwriting and composition. The members actively engage with fans through various individual activities, including acting and variety shows.
