Kangmin from the K-pop group VERIVERY, who narrowly missed out on debuting with the project group 'ONE PACT' after ranking 9th in Mnet's 'Boys Planet' finale, has shared a handwritten letter with his fans.

On April 26th, Kangmin posted a personal letter on his social media reflecting on the intense 4-month journey. He expressed his happiness, stating, "Although each day was very difficult, I am happy because I felt like I was part of a wonderful show with such great people."

During the 'Boys Planet' live finale on April 25th, Kangmin secured 3,548,388 votes, falling short of the 8th spot by approximately 300,000 votes, a result that disappointed many of his supporters.

In his letter, he extended his sincere gratitude to his fans, referred to as 'Kkangtagus,' and the star creators who supported him. "Thank you so, so much for not giving up on me and for loving me until the very end," he wrote, adding, "Your cheers gave me the strength to push myself, sweat more, and perform with grit."

Kangmin also sent words of encouragement to the 160 other contestants he shared the 'Boys Planet' experience with. "Even though I was nervous stepping on stage for the first time, seeing your determined eyes and gestures fueled my passion," he recalled, "I did my best so as not to be ashamed of the contestants who were eliminated earlier."

He also thanked the production staff and, finally, expressed his deep emotion and gratitude towards his VERIVERY bandmates. "I've returned now! Let's make VERIVERY shine," he declared, signaling his renewed commitment to his group activities.

Meanwhile, the final lineup for the 'Boys Planet' project group, now known as 'ZICO's boys', consists of Sung Hanbin, Seok Matthew, Ricky, Park Gunwook, Kim Taerae, Kim Jiwoong, Hong Junseo, and Lee Junghyun, who have officially secured their debut.

Kangmin made his debut with VERIVERY in 2020, where he is known for his rap and dance skills. 'Boys Planet' marked his first participation in a survival audition program. His journey on the show showcased his growth and determination.
