K-pop powerhouse MONSTA X (Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, I.M) has gifted their official fan club, MONBEBE, a special surprise to commemorate their 10th anniversary.
Their agency, Starship Entertainment, recently unveiled a special clip on the MONSTA X official YouTube channel, titled '[MONCHANNEL][S] MONSTA X - Fire & Ice (Self-cam ver.)'.
This special clip features the members filming themselves with personal cameras, set to the music of 'Fire & Ice,' a B-side track from their latest mini-album 'THE X'. Notably, the song was co-written and co-composed by member Hyungwon.
The video showcases the members' natural charm through close-up shots and candid daily moments, creating an intimate connection with their fans. It highlights their heartwarming visuals and the special chemistry they share as a group.
Towards the end of the video, leader Shownu delivered a heartfelt congratulatory message to MONBEBE, who celebrated their 10th anniversary on the 26th. Playfully, he started by saying, "MONBEBE, I prepared eggs for your birthday. Sorry it's about food again today," before sincerely adding, "I cherish you all so much. It's no exaggeration to say you are my everything."
He continued with warm wishes in multiple languages: "Happy birthday! 誕生日おめでとう. MONBEBE, I love you so much," expressing gratitude to their global fanbase.
'Fire & Ice' is described as a pop dance track that uses the metaphor of fire and water to depict a love that transcends different forms. Through this self-cam special clip, MONSTA X conveyed their unwavering affection for MONBEBE, making the 10th anniversary of their fan club even more meaningful.
