On the 30th, Kakao Entertainment (co-CEOs Kwon Ki-soo, Jang Yoon-jung) announced a partnership with CJ ENM (CEO Yoon Sang-hyun) to jointly promote the global K-band making project through Mnet's upcoming show, 'Still Heart Club.'

In this collaboration, Kakao Entertainment will handle music distribution for the program's songs, as well as the planning, production, and management of the final band. CJ ENM will take charge of the program's concept and production, vividly capturing the participants' survival journey.

The two companies aim to showcase a new iconic band poised to lead the next wave of the global K-band boom by combining Kakao Entertainment's expertise in music IP business with CJ ENM's outstanding content production capabilities.

Set to premiere on October 21st at 10 PM KST, Mnet's 'Still Heart Club' is a global band-making survival project where individual contestants, specializing in guitar, drums, bass, vocals, and keyboard, compete fiercely to become the 'Ultimate Headliner Band.' Actor Moon Ga-young will host the show, while directors Jung Yong-hwa, Lee Jang-won, Sunwoo Jung-a, and Ha Sung-woon are set to join, bringing diverse perspectives to the creation of this new global band.

Kakao Entertainment plans to distribute the music created by the 'Still Heart Club' contestants both domestically and internationally. They will also manage the album planning, production, and overall operations of the final band, enabling global fans to enjoy and support the journey of discovering new band rookies.

CJ ENM, leveraging Mnet's proven track record with successful audition programs like 'Superstar K,' 'Show Me The Money,' and 'Boys Planet,' aims to expand the K-pop genre into bands with 'Still Heart Club.' They aspire to contribute to the diversification of K-pop genres and the growth of the global band market.

Netizens expressed excitement, with comments like 'Finally, a K-band survival show, I'm so looking forward to it!', 'The lineup is solid with Moon Ga-young as MC and Jung Yong-hwa and Ha Sung-woon,' and 'I'm really curious about who the members will be,' showing high interest in the program.
