Global superstar Rosé of BLACKPINK has become the focal point of an escalating controversy following Paris Fashion Week, with fans accusing major media outlets and fellow celebrities of deliberately sidelining the artist despite her prominent role as Saint Laurent's global ambassador.

The uproar began when ELLE UK published a group photo featuring Rosé alongside notable figures like Hailey Bieber, Zoë Kravitz, and Charli XCX. To the shock and anger of fans, Rosé was entirely cropped out of the image.

Fans expressed outrage in the comments section, questioning the decision to exclude the brand's official global face. "With over 80 million followers, treating Rosé this way is blatant disrespect," one fan commented, echoing the sentiments of many.

While ELLE UK later added a solo shot of Rosé, many dismissed it as a superficial fix, stating it only intensified their disappointment.

Further fueling the fire were circulating videos from the fashion show. In contrast to Hailey Bieber, Zoë Kravitz, and Charli XCX, who were seen engaging in lively conversations in the front row, Rosé appeared isolated, sitting quietly and briefly looking towards them before lowering her gaze. Fans described the moment as "painful to watch," interpreting it as another clear sign of disregard.

The situation intensified when Charli XCX posted a photo on Instagram where Rosé was largely obscured by shadow. Some fans accused Charli XCX of jealousy or intentionally framing Rosé poorly, while others defended her, suggesting it was merely poor lighting and highlighting their long-standing friendship.

Backlash also extended to Hailey Bieber's Instagram. A recent post showcasing her outfit was inundated with Rosé GIFs and supportive messages such as "Rosé, you’re the real winner" and "Even in the shadows, she shines brightest."

What started with a cropped photograph has now evolved into a widespread discussion about respect and representation within the fashion industry, with fans calling out perceived discriminatory undertones. Rosé has been a global ambassador for Saint Laurent since 2020 and was appointed global ambassador for YSL Beauty earlier this year, solidifying her status as one of the brand's most influential ambassadors.

Korean netizens expressed strong reactions online, with comments like, "ELLE UK's photo editing is unbelievable. How could they cut out a global star?" and "Rosé looked so lonely in that video clip, it was heartbreaking to see."
