BTS's Jimin Opens Up About Rumors, Shares Update on Upcoming Album and Future Plans

Following the resolution of recent personal life rumors, BTS member Jimin communicated with fans on the official fan community platform Weverse, sharing his candid thoughts and current activities.

During a live broadcast on the 1st, Jimin stated, "There's nothing set for performances yet, so I'm diligently working on album preparations. I'm very thankful. I've also been exercising a lot and dieting," updating fans on his efforts towards the group's full-member comeback.

He heightened anticipation for the upcoming album, saying, "I'm really looking forward to it. We're putting a lot of effort into this album, and I'm very curious how you all will perceive it. It's an album we all hold very dear."

Having completed his military service, Jimin expressed his longing for fans, "I missed you all so much. I'm so happy to be back here. Now that I've completed my military service, there won't be such long breaks. We'll continue preparing, and once the album is out next year, we'll be out meeting you all. We need to keep showing you good sides."

Addressing the recent rumors indirectly, he reflected, "There have been quite a few incidents. I always want to show good sides to my fans and many people, but living a good life isn't easy. I often realize that becoming a good adult and living a good life are not simple tasks."

He continued with determination, "I just need to do well. I have to do well. Becoming an adult isn't easy, it's like imitating an adult. Anyway, I will continue to live well, keep showing good sides, and try harder to show them." He mentioned wanting to share these thoughts after a long time.

Previously, Jimin had been subject to dating rumors with actress Song Da-eun for several years. The rumors resurfaced when Song Da-eun uploaded what appeared to be a personal video with Jimin. In response, his agency, Big Hit Music, broke its silence, stating, "The artist had a past connection with the other party out of mutual interest, but that was several years ago, and they are not in a romantic relationship currently. We ask you to refrain from making baseless speculations about their private lives. We earnestly request that you refrain from actions that could harm the other party involved with our artist."
