Lim Young-woong's 'ULSSIGU' MV Behind-the-Scenes: 'Introvert DJ' Charms with Humor
Singer Lim Young-woong shared behind-the-scenes footage from the music video set for his new song ‘ULSSIGU’, humorously overcoming his struggles as an 'introvert DJ'.
In the 'ULSSIGU MV Behind' video released on his official channel on the 2nd, Lim Young-woong took the DJ booth amidst partygoers, admitting with a laugh, “I’ve never really been to clubs…”. He lightened the mood by joking with the cast, “Don’t make eye contact with me, it’s embarrassing.”
However, his demeanor quickly shifted to a professional mode. He rapidly absorbed the choreographer’s moves and smoothly executed rehearsals. He playfully added, “I should have done some research beforehand, maybe gone to a club three times,” heightening the atmosphere.
Feeling awkward about eye contact, he initially considered wearing sunglasses but then declared a 'drastic measure': “Let’s just make eye contact beforehand.” He then drew viewers in with his intense gaze, bringing the set to laughter.
Lim Young-woong didn't hide his satisfaction with the creative process. He stated, “Unlike before, I feel more at ease putting my thoughts into the music and doing what I want to do. Even if I’m tired, it’s fun.” He added, “I think (this MV) will turn out really beautifully. Even if it's not my biggest hit, it'll be a piece I'll want to watch repeatedly.”
After wrapping up the shoot, he remarked, “Memorizing the choreography was a bit tough, but once I learned it, I could enjoy it, so I had fun.” He urged fans to anticipate the finished product. Lim Young-woong released his second full album ‘IM HERO 2’ on August 29th. The ‘ULSSIGU’ MV behind-the-scenes clip conveyed the on-set energy, boosting anticipation with his confidence in pursuing his desired music and his cheerful on-set demeanor.
Fans reacted enthusiastically to Lim Young-woong's playful side. Comments like "I fell for his honest and cute personality even more," "I relate to the 'even if tired, it's fun' line, he's truly a pro," and "Can't wait for the music video!" poured in, showing their support for his comeback.
