Yoon Min-soo's Son Yoon-hoo Opens Up About Parents' Divorce: 'I'll Live Well on My Own'

Singer Yoon Min-soo's son, Yoon-hoo, has candidly shared his feelings regarding his parents' impending divorce.

On the SBS reality show 'My Little Old Boy' aired on the 7th, Yoon-hoo's grown-up appearance surprised many. He was seen guiding his father, Yoon Min-soo, through a workout, encouraging him with, "You've gained weight, so exercise and lose it."

Yoon Min-soo expressed his bittersweet feelings about the limited time left with his son, who is studying at a prestigious university in the U.S. He gently broached the subject of their separate living arrangements post-divorce. "When you come back to Korea next time, your mom and I might be living apart," he explained. "We won't be able to be together like this all the time, and you might end up staying with either your mom or me."

Reacting to this, Yoon-hoo admitted, "I'm quite taken aback because this is the first time we're discussing this," but quickly composed himself. "I'll have to manage on my own now," he stated maturely. "I'll attend school well and do my things. I'm all grown up now, so I'll be able to live well by myself." His father, Yoon Min-soo, was visibly touched, remarking, "That's a relief."

When Yoon Min-soo mentioned he would be lonely without Yoon-hoo, the son replied honestly, "I think I'll play with Dad, but stay with Mom." Yoon Min-soo then suggested, "Then play with me," to which Yoon-hoo jokingly added, "I'll play at Dad's house and sleep at Mom's house."

Yoon-hoo is the son of singer Yoon Min-soo and his ex-wife Kim Min-ji. Born in 2007, he gained significant popularity after appearing on the MBC variety show 'Dad! Where Are We Going?' in 2013. He is currently studying abroad in the United States.
