'I Am Solo' Couple Youngja and Kwangsoo Announce Pregnancy for 'Baby Kim Toma' Due March Next Year

Youngja and Kwangsoo, who tied the knot after appearing on the '돌싱 특집' (Divorced Singles Special) Season 22 of SBS Plus and ENA's 'I Am Solo,' have joyfully announced they are expecting their first child.

Youngja shared the happy news on her social media on the 7th, posting, 'Congratulations! Baby Kim Toma (태명 - fetal name) is scheduled to be born next March.' The accompanying photos show the couple beaming with smiles while holding an ultrasound image.

Revealing the pregnancy, Youngja stated, 'We started preparing for pregnancy, including taking folic acid and exercising, from February, and we received good news after our Hawaii trip in May.' She added, 'There was a time I thought this life would be about helping others without having my own child, but now I have both a husband and a baby. I truly believe appearing on 'I Am Solo' was the right decision.'

Youngja also shared, 'Perhaps because a little friend left us before Baby Kim Toma, I find some comfort in the fact that the severe morning sickness I'm experiencing now seems to be proof of Baby Kim Toma's well-being.' She concluded by expressing gratitude, 'Even though it was edited out, I told the production team during my final interview on the last day of 'I Am Solo' that this time was an opportunity for me to love someone again. I am most thankful to my husband, Kim Phwangsoo, who actively participated in Power J's pregnancy plans.'

Youngja met Kwangsoo through the 'Divorced Singles Special' (Season 22) of the reality show 'I Am Solo.'

Before her appearance on the show, she had expressed doubts about being able to have children after facing difficult times.

She conveyed her gratitude for her husband, whom she met on the show, and for their soon-to-arrive baby.
