
Intense Chase Unfolds: 'A Good Day for Eun-soo' Premieres on the 20th
KBS2's new Saturday-Sunday mini-series, 'A Good Day for Eun-soo,' is set to premiere on the 20th, heightening anticipation with a preview of the fierce confrontation between the narcotics investigation team and the drug trafficking organization 'Phantom.'
Newly released stills capture the sharp standoff between the drug detectives of the Gwangnam Police Station and the members of 'Phantom,' hinting at a thrilling cat-and-mouse game to find a missing bag.
Park Yong-woo stars as Jang Tae-gu, the ace team leader of the narcotics division at Gwangnam Police Station, who uses his seasoned investigative skills and sharp intuition to track down the drug trafficking organization. Hwang Jae-yeol plays Park Bo-hee, the veteran team member and mood-maker, while Kwon Ji-woo portrays Choi Kyung-do, a rookie detective with a medical background who relies on Tae-gu's guidance. Seo Ha-jeong joins as the fearless and passionate rookie detective Lee Eun-young, promising to bring fresh energy to the drama.
Won Hyun-joon takes on the role of Do Gyu-man, the boss of the drug trafficking syndicate, exuding a mysterious aura and a powerful baritone voice. Lee Gyu-seong and Son Bo-seung appear as brothers involved in the criminal enterprise, adding a layer of realism to the struggles of young people driven to crime by financial hardship and failed job searches.
"The conflict between the detectives chasing the lost drug bag and 'Phantom' desperately trying to retrieve it will lead to an unpredictable plot and overwhelming tension," stated the production team. 'A Good Day for Eun-soo' depicts a dangerous partnership between a parent, Kang Eun-soo, who wants to protect her family, and a teacher with two faces, Lee Gyeong, after they accidentally acquire a bag of drugs. The series will premiere on KBS2 at 9:20 PM on the 20th.
Park Yong-woo debuted in the film 'A Man with Flowers' in 1997. He has built a solid acting career, starring in numerous dramas such as 'Dalja's Spring,' 'My Undesirable Bride,' and 'Queen of Conditions.' More recently, he delivered impressive performances in the film 'Cassiopeia' and the drama 'Chimera.'
