BTS V's 'Layover' Marks 2nd Anniversary with Global Fan Celebrations and Charitable Acts

Fans worldwide are celebrating the second anniversary of BTS member V's debut solo album, 'Layover,' with a variety of special events and meaningful donations.

In South Korea, the fan community 'VINSIDE' hosted a unique fountain show event at Ilsan Lake Park from September 5th to 7th, featuring the title track 'Slow Dancing.' Simultaneously, Japanese fan base 'BTSV_JPN' lit up Yokohama Marine Tower with purple lights and ran advertising trucks across the city to commemorate the album's first anniversary.

Beyond celebratory events, fans globally engaged in charitable initiatives. 'VINSIDE' and 'BTS V UNION' donated to Save the Children Korea to support underprivileged children, inspired by V's own support for the organization. Additionally, events honoring V's beloved dog, Yeontan, saw donations made to animal welfare organizations in Spain, India, and Brazil, extending V's positive influence. Singaporean fans also contributed to UNICEF and Singapore Polyclinics to aid Palestinian refugees, showcasing the fandom's global impact.

V released his first solo OST, 'Christmas Tree,' on December 24, 2021, marking a significant step in his solo career. His official debut solo album, 'Layover,' was released on September 8, 2023. He has also garnered attention for his acting roles and contributions to various drama soundtracks.
