Jung Jin-soo, HYBE's Chief Legal Officer (CLO), has alleged that former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin attempted to secure investors for the group NewJeans late last year.

During the second hearing of the lawsuit filed by Min Hee-jin against HYBE over stock sale proceeds on the 11th at the Seoul Central District Court, Jung Jin-soo appeared as a witness. He stated that HYBE received separate tip-offs regarding Min Hee-jin's meetings with investors.

While Jung Jin-soo declined to reveal the source of the information due to safety concerns, he detailed that the informant provided specific circumstances: a Japanese investor visited Korea in January and arranged meetings for Min Hee-jin at the office of a renowned venture capital firm that had advised her on shareholder agreements. He also mentioned that a translated legal opinion from Law Firm Sejong, predicting a favorable outcome for NewJeans in their exclusive contract provisional injunction, was shown to the investor.

Jung Jin-soo, as HYBE's CLO, oversees all legal affairs for the company. He has previously played a pivotal role in various legal disputes involving HYBE, acting as the company's legal representative. His legal interpretations and testimony in this case are expected to significantly influence the trial's direction.
