Comedian Jung Ju-ri Reveals Secrets to Raising Five Sons on 'My Golden Kid'

Comedian Jung Ju-ri appeared on Channel A's 'My Golden Kid' (a show about parenting) and shared her parenting secrets and candid feelings about raising five sons.

Appearing alone on the show, Jung Ju-ri explained that her husband was taking care of their children when asked about his absence, managing their school runs, snacks, and the youngest child's care.

When asked if her five sons, ranging from 11 years old to 8 months old, were planned, Jung Ju-ri shyly replied, 'They were all unplanned, a result of spontaneous love.' She added, 'I love them dearly, cherish them, and respect them.' Now a decade into her marriage after a nine-year courtship, she finds joy in having many loved ones around her, despite the hands-on demands of a large family.

During the broadcast, when Jang Young-ran asked about the 'secret to having five sons,' Jung Ju-ri humorously responded, 'Love them endlessly.' When Dr. Oh Eun-young inquired about plans for a sixth child, Jung Ju-ri surprised everyone by revealing, 'My husband and I recuperated together at a postpartum care center after having our fifth.'

Jung Ju-ri married her husband, who is the same age as her, in 2015 and currently has five sons.

She has previously mentioned in past broadcasts that she had plans for a large family even during her dating years.

Jung Ju-ri further warmed hearts by emphasizing her husband's active participation in raising their children.
