Figure Skating Queen Kim Yuna Reveals Surprising Connection with Ji Suk-jin Through Husband Ko Woo-rim

Former figure skating icon Kim Yuna has revealed an unexpected link to television personality Ji Suk-jin, thanks to her husband, Ko Woo-rim.

Appearing as a guest on the YouTube channel 'DdeunDdeun's 'Pinggyego' on the 13th, Kim Yuna sat down with hosts Yoo Jae-suk, Jo Se-ho, and Ji Suk-jin for a candid conversation.

Ji Suk-jin highlighted his connection with Kim Yuna, prompting Yoo Jae-suk to inquire about their relationship. Kim Yuna then disclosed that her husband, Ko Woo-rim, a member of the crossover group Forestella, and Ji Suk-jin's son were同期 (training mates) in military boot camp.

Ji Suk-jin recalled meeting Ko Woo-rim for the first time at his son's boot camp graduation, expressing his surprise at the singer's deep and pleasant voice. 'I've liked you since before,' Ko Woo-rim had said, impressing Ji Suk-jin with his low vocal tone.

This surprising connection, stemming from Ko Woo-rim's military service alongside Ji Suk-jin's son, has captured the attention of viewers. Ko Woo-rim, a graduate of Seoul National University's vocal music department, is cherished for his baritone performances in Forestella.
