'I Am Solo' Season 27's Jung-sook Files Lawsuit Against 30 for Defamation and Insults
Jung-sook, a participant from Season 27 of the popular reality dating show 'I Am Solo,' is taking legal action against 30 individuals for spreading malicious rumors and engaging in personal attacks.
On the 16th, Jung-sook filed a lawsuit at the Gyeongbuk Pohang Bukbu Police Station, citing defamation and insult under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection. These accusations stem from fabricated claims and deeply offensive remarks, including allegations of school violence that surfaced during her appearance on the show.
Jung-sook has consistently denied the school violence allegations. In response to posts on online communities like the 'I Am Solo' gallery on DCInside, which appeared from July to recently, containing insults such as 'bitch who certified herself as a rag,' 'black school violence whore,' 'school violence human trash,' and 'Pohang blackie,' along with false statements like 'hung out with delinquents during school days,' she has decided to pursue strict legal measures.
Previously, in August, Jung-sook appeared on the 'I Am Solo' production company's YouTube channel, 'Chonjang Entertainment,' to directly address the school violence allegations. She emphasized that claims such as 'kicked and bullied a child who was the class outcast' and 'ruined relationships during school days by playing people against each other' were untrue and expressed her distress.
Jung-sook is known for her candid and strong personality showcased during her appearance on 'I Am Solo' Season 27. Prior to the show, there was considerable curiosity about her profession and daily life. Despite the difficult legal battle, she maintains her innocence and is receiving support from her fans.
