Global superstar Lisa from the K-pop group BLACKPINK surprised everyone with her unexpected appearance at the opening ceremony of the 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).

On the evening of the 17th, at the Busan Cinema Center, the BIFF kicked off its festivities. A truly unexpected guest graced the red carpet: Lisa, a member of the world-renowned girl group BLACKPINK.

Her appearance was introduced as a "surprise guest for BIFF," and it was indeed a genuine surprise, as even domestic media outlets had no prior notice. This marks a significant moment for Lisa, branching out into the film festival scene beyond music awards.

Lisa has recently been expanding her career into acting, notably with her role in the HBO drama series 'The White Lotus' season 3. Following this venture, she attended the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards on the 14th (local time) as an actress, further solidifying her acting aspirations. Her presence at the BIFF, a non-music-related event in Korea, garnered immense attention.

The striking dress Lisa wore also captured everyone's attention. The flesh-toned dress, which extended from her neck to her hips, created a captivating illusion, appearing almost like a nude outfit due to its seamless fit and soft texture that reflected the red carpet lights. Her sleek figure was highlighted by the form-fitting design.

The lower half of the dress featured a bold cut that revealed her hipbone line, continuing Lisa's signature bold and experimental fashion choices. Contrasting with the fitted upper body, the skirt section was adorned with voluminous pastel-colored lace and intricate embroidery of flowers and butterflies, adding a rich texture and dimensional flair that drew admiration.

Originally from Thailand, Lisa is known as the main dancer and sub-vocalist of YG Entertainment's girl group BLACKPINK. She made a highly successful solo debut in 2021 with her single album 'LALISA'. Her recent acting endeavors are expanding her profile as a versatile global entertainer.
