YouTuber Yong Ho-soo Sparks Outrage with Mocking Remarks About Deceased Broadcaster Daedosa

YouTuber Yong Ho-soo is facing widespread criticism for his insensitive and mocking comments regarding the recent passing of broadcaster Daedosa (real name: Na Dong-hyun).

On the 6th, Yong Ho-soo shared a news article about Daedosa's death on his social media, writing, 'Broadcaster Daedosa, who was always so mannerly and kind… It’s so, so sad about his divorce and now his death.' When a netizen pointed out that bringing up past issues while discussing his death felt like mockery, Yong Ho-soo defiantly responded with a taunting reply, 'Divorce, wail wail wail wail, Mr. Daedosa,' adding, 'This is just wishing him peace according to Korean standards, isn't it?'

His offensive remarks didn't stop there. Yong Ho-soo referred to the deceased broadcaster as a 'high school dropout BJ from Incheon,' and insulted his broadcasting style with vulgar language. He also made disparaging comments about specific regions, stating, 'Most high school dropouts who act cocky are idiots. Be very careful with Incheon and Jeolla Province.' Furthermore, he invoked the name of singer Wheesung, another deceased celebrity, by saying, 'He left like Wheesung,' and controversially claimed, 'Why do they keep dying before I can expose them…ㅠ I don't know how many it's been. It's truly sad. After the three-year mourning period for Koreans, I'll have to make my exposé. Truly, if you mess with Yong Chan-woo, you die, whether metaphorically or literally.' He also asserted, 'If you touch Yong Chan-woo, you will live in pain, shedding tears of blood, or die. It is already written that way.'
