Actor Bae Hyun-sung has revealed the extensive preparations he undertook for his role as 'Cho Philip' in the upcoming tvN drama 'Mr. President' during the online production presentation held on the 8th.

Bae Hyun-sung explained his efforts to portray the character, who is both a rookie judge and a chicken shop employee. He stated, "I attended court observation classes and met with current lawyers to showcase a professional side when discussing legal matters." He further emphasized his dedication to differentiating Philip's character from the more flexible 'Mr. President'.

When asked about his contributions at the chicken shop, he humorously remarked, "As an unexpected hire, I wasn't exceptionally skilled, but I tried my best with cleaning and organizing, and offered legal advice." He also described Philip as someone who, despite his intelligent and model-student image, becomes more flexible and humanistic after meeting 'Mr. President' and 'Sion', adding, "He is someone who logically judges situations but deeply empathizes with others' feelings," suggesting the nickname 'Crispy Outside, Tender Inside' for his character.

Bae Hyun-sung made his debut in the 2019 web drama 'A-TEEN 2' and quickly garnered attention. He is emerging as a next-generation actor with his stable performances in numerous dramas and films. Notably, he recently gained significant viewer affection for his remarkable presence in the drama 'Queen of Tears'.
