At the online production presentation for tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Mr. President Project' (working title), Director Shin Kyeong-soo and actor Han Suk-kyu shared their deep affection for the project and their personal convictions.

'Mr. President Project' is a conflict resolution hero drama centered around a mysterious figure, Mr. President, who is a former legendary negotiator and current owner of a chicken restaurant. He resolves cases by navigating the lines between legal and illegal means. Director Shin Kyeong-soo stated, "This is a drama needed for us living in an era of communication breakdown and regret," expressing his desire to offer warm comfort to viewers through dialogue and understanding.

When asked about 'a moment when Mr. President was needed in my life,' Director Shin Kyeong-soo pointed to societal issues requiring Mr. President's intervention, referencing the standoff between farmers and police last winter and the recent detention of workers in the U.S. Actor Han Suk-kyu echoed these sentiments, expressing deep concern over the current societal communication deficit by mentioning extreme outcomes, the degradation of employer-employee relations, and unfortunate incidents involving franchise store owners. He also offered words of encouragement to those facing difficulties in Gangneung and added, "I hope viewers can find a moment to reflect on their own emotions through this drama."

Director Shin Kyeong-soo is acclaimed for directing numerous hit series, including 'Six Flying Dragons' and 'Dr. Romantic 2,' showcasing his strong storytelling and delicate directing skills. His works are known for their in-depth exploration of realistic issues and human struggles. With 'Mr. President Project,' he aims to communicate with viewers once again through a work imbued with a social message.
