Actress Ko So-young Reveals Herself as a 'Fangirl Mom' for ZEROBASEONE

Actress Ko So-young has revealed herself to be a "fangirl mom" during the premiere of her new KBS YouTube show, 'Ko So-young's Pubstaurant'. Making her first appearance on KBS in 28 years since 'Super Sunday', Ko expressed her excitement and nervousness about hosting her first solo MC gig.

'Ko So-young's Pubstaurant' is the first spin-off from the popular KBS show 'Pyeonstaurant', where Ko, as the establishment's manager, invites celebrity guests she admires, cooks for them, and shares candid conversations fueled by her fan's curiosity. The first guests were the group ZEROBASEONE, and Ko openly shared her burgeoning fandom, which started through her daughter.

"Since my daughter is young, I'm like a fangirling mom. I watch with her, and then I become a fan too," Ko explained. She added, "They are friends I especially rooted for. Watching their growth process on TV, it feels like I've raised an idol. I'm so proud that they are doing so well right now."

For the busy ZEROBASEONE members, Ko prepared Daepa Suyuk, a dish previously featured on 'Pyeonstaurant' by Yoon Yoo-sun, showcasing her heartfelt hospitality.

Ko So-young is a renowned South Korean actress who debuted in 1992 with the film 'The Sons and Daughters of the Detective'. She married actor Jang Dong-gun in 2010 and they have one son and one daughter. She is reportedly considering a return to acting after a hiatus following the drama 'Perfect Wife'.
