Ahn Jae-hyun Promises Culinary Transformation in New Variety Show 'Where to Go Wild'

Actor Ahn Jae-hyun is set to redefine his image in the upcoming variety show 'Where to Go Wild' (working title), produced jointly by ENA, NXT, and ComedyTV. The show promises a unique culinary journey guided solely by recommendations from restaurant owners, featuring Ahn Jae-hyun alongside Kim Dae-ho, Tzuyang, and Jonathan.

Ahn Jae-hyun expressed his excitement about the show, stating, "While I've shown myself cooking or eating in various programs before, this time I decided to appear because I believe I can showcase a different side by directly introducing hidden gem restaurants." He emphasized his renewed commitment, saying, "My motto is 'I'll go anywhere for a great meal,' and I aim to show myself eating deliciously rather than just eating a lot."

Known previously for his smaller appetite, Ahn Jae-hyun revealed a surprising shift in his eating habits. "There was a point where I experienced an 'eating spree,' and my appetite changed along with my filming and daily routines. My body has gotten bigger, but people say I look good, so I'm happily exercising and eating well," he shared, hinting at a new persona optimized for food-related entertainment.

Reflecting on his co-stars, Ahn Jae-hyun described his initial meeting with Kim Dae-ho, Tzuyang, and Jonathan as instantly comfortable. "They are fun and warm people, so we became close right away," he said, praising Kim Dae-ho's reliability and wit, and Jonathan's positive energy and quick thinking. He was particularly astonished by Tzuyang's eating prowess, remarking, "Just sitting at the same table as Tzuyang was a great experience. She truly eats as much as I expected." However, he confidently added, "Still, I won't lose my own 'eating pride' and will show myself eating deliciously," piquing curiosity about their on-screen chemistry.

Ahn Jae-hyun also offered a glimpse into the unpredictable nature of the show's filming, where spontaneous invitations are common. "Even the production team can't anticipate everything, so we all laugh and enjoy the unexpected situations. That's the unique charm of 'Where to Go Wild,'" he explained.
