Veteran actress Ko Hyun-jung is being lauded for her heroic actions after saving child actor Jo Se-woong from a dangerous situation on a film set.

Jo Se-woong's mother revealed on social media on the 8th that Ko Hyun-jung rescued her son during the filming of the drama 'Pray for Them' last year. The incident occurred at a beach in Shinan, where the then 6-year-old Jo Se-woong was playing near the water when a sudden wave threatened to pull him in.

Witness accounts state that Ko Hyun-jung, from a distance, reacted with lightning speed, rushing to pull the child to safety. Her mother expressed immense gratitude, noting that Ko Hyun-jung did not hesitate to put herself at risk and continued to be affectionate towards Jo Se-woong after the shoot, earning her the title of 'angel' from the young actor.

Ko Hyun-jung, a former Miss Korea runner-up, made her acting debut in 1989 and has since starred in numerous acclaimed dramas such as 'The Queen's Classroom' and 'Dear My Friends'. She is known for her versatile acting skills and captivating screen presence. Currently, she is starring in the SBS drama 'Pray for Them', a crime thriller.
