Director Lee Ji-won, who brought back romance for viewers with her reunion on 'Documentary 3 Days' after a decade, is generating buzz for showcasing a bonus cash gift received from KBS.

On August 8th, Director Lee shared photos on her personal social media with the caption, “Received a cash gift too. It was a happy August.” The revealed photos included an envelope labeled ‘Documentary 3 Days Director Lee Ji-won’ and a plaque of appreciation from KBS’s Cultural Documentary Center.

The plaque contained the message, “We thank you for your exceptional passion and contribution to Documentary 3 Days. It was a time to look back on everyone's youth and romance across 10 years. We will remember the hot summer of 2025, where we held the camera together again.”

Director Lee Ji-won was the focus of the special edition 'About Time' of 'Documentary 3 Days,' aired last month on the 22nd. She had promised a meeting 10 years later with two university students during filming in August 2015 and actually met one of the protagonists on August 15, 2025. This reunion was shared with the audience through a special broadcast of the already concluded 'Documentary 3 Days,' receiving widespread acclaim for rekindling lost romance.
