Kwon Yul's Agency Addresses Reports of Wife Being Hwang Seung-un's Sister

Kwon Yul's agency, Team Hope, has responded to recent reports claiming his wife is the sister of actress Hwang Seung-un.

In a statement to OSEN on the 9th, Team Hope stated, "Kwon Yul's wife is a non-celebrity, and we ask for your understanding that we are unable to confirm specific details regarding his family."

Earlier, one media outlet reported that Kwon Yul's wife, whom he married in May, is Hwang Seung-un's younger sister. The news of their marriage broke less than a week before the ceremony, which took place on May 24th as a private church wedding.

It was previously reported that Kwon Yul's wife, identified as Ms. Hwang, appeared alongside Hwang Seung-un on the 2015 show 'Follow Me 7.' The sisters collaborated on a photoshoot, drawing attention for their 'superior genes,' with the younger sister noted for resembling Liu Yifei. However, the agency remains cautious about revealing further details to protect the privacy of his non-celebrity wife.

Kwon Yul debuted in 2007 with the SBS drama 'Mackerel Run' and is also known as the nephew of veteran actress Choi Myung-gil.
