Actor Jung Woo-sung is set to make his first public appearance in approximately a year following personal controversy.

He will attend the hand-printing ceremony for the 34th Buil Film Awards, scheduled for the 18th at the Signiel Busan. This event upholds the tradition of the Buil Film Awards, Korea's first film award, and will be graced by last year's award recipients.

Alongside Jung Woo-sung, recipients from the 33rd Buil Film Awards, including Kim Geum-soon, Lim Ji-yeon, Lee Joon-hyuk, Shin Hye-sun, Kim Young-sung, and Jung Soo-jung, are expected to attend. Jung Woo-sung's participation is particularly anticipated as he was awarded Best Actor last year.

Jung Woo-sung faced controversy regarding an extramarital child last year but stated at the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards in November, "As a father, I will fulfill my responsibilities to my son until the end." More recently, news of his marriage registration with his non-celebrity girlfriend has drawn renewed attention.

Jung Woo-sung debuted in 1994 with the film 'The Fox with Nine Tails' and has since become a leading figure in Korean cinema with hits like 'Beat,' 'City of the Rising Sun,' 'Asura: The City of Madness,' 'Innocent Witness,' and 'Hunt.' He recently took on the dual role of director and lead actor in the film 'A Man of Will.'
