Actor Heo Nam-jun, a key cast member of JTBC's new weekend drama 'Memories of a Hundred Years,' shared his experience wearing a school uniform for his role.

At the production press conference held on the afternoon of the 11th at The Link Seoul Hotel in Guro-gu, Seoul, Heo Nam-jun attended alongside director Kim Sang-ho, and co-stars Kim Da-mi and Shin Ye-eun.

'Memories of a Hundred Years' is a retro-themed youth melodrama set in the 1980s, depicting the friendship between bus conductress Young-rye (Kim Da-mi) and Jong-hee (Shin Ye-eun), and their fated encounter with Jae-pil (Heo Nam-jun), who becomes the object of their first love.

In the drama, Heo Nam-jun portrays Jae-pil, a third-year student at the prestigious Jungshin High School and the son of a department store owner, nicknamed the 'Prince Charming type.' While appearing to be a wealthy golden spoon from the outside, he carries deep inner scars.

Heo Nam-jun, born in 1993, transforms into a 19-year-old high school senior for the series. He expressed his gratitude, stating, "I'm thankful to the director for giving me the opportunity to wear a school uniform." He added, "I paid close attention to everything – my hair, makeup, and clothes. There wasn't much I could do myself, but I tried hard to keep my heart young." He also shared, "I even tried skincare for the first time," revealing his immersion into the character.

'Memories of a Hundred Years' is set to premiere on the 13th at 10:40 PM.

Born in 1993, Heo Nam-jun debuted in 2019 with the drama '18 Again'. He has garnered attention for his handsome visuals and stable acting skills. He has also built his filmography through various projects, including the web drama 'Love Playlist Season 4'.
