Actress Lim Yoon-a is solidifying her status as a rom-com queen with her captivating performance in the tvN weekend drama ‘The King’s Chef’.

In the series, Lim Yoon-a plays Yeon Ji-young, a French chef who time-slips to her most triumphant moment in the past.

During the 7th episode, Yeon Ji-young, accompanied by Lee Heon (played by Lee Chae-min), sought out Jang Chun-saeng (played by Go Chang-seok) to acquire a pressure cooker for the third competition. Despite facing firm rejections and numerous threats, she persevered, eventually winning him over by cooking a traditional Dongnae pajeon that evoked his hometown memories, all while braving the rain.

Upon obtaining the pressure cooker, Yeon Ji-young was ambushed by assassins sent by Lord Jesan (played by Choi Gwi-hwa) on her way back to the palace. Though she lost the lid, she desperately clung to the handle and narrowly escaped the peril with the help of Im Song-jae (played by Oh Eui-sik) and the Woori-wi.

Overcome with exhaustion, Yeon Ji-young resolved not to give up on the competition and, arriving at the venue, declared with a fiery gaze, 'Shall I show you my skills?', adding to the drama's intrigue.
