Broadcaster Choi Eun-kyung has revealed that she has never worked as a news anchor, sparking interest.

On the TV Chosun program 'Sikgaek Huh Young-man's Baekban Gibeok' aired on the 14th, Choi Eun-kyung appeared as a guest and explored local eateries in Changwon with host Huh Young-man.

During the show, Huh Young-man inquired about her academic background. Choi confessed, "I wasn't bad at studying," but added, "I didn't have a dream until I graduated from university." She majored in English Education at Ewha Womans University but found teaching wasn't the right fit for her.

Choi explained that before becoming an announcer, she viewed people on television as exceptionally special and doll-like, never even dreaming of such a career for herself. She stumbled into the profession and realized that even someone as introverted as herself could do it. Huh Young-man, surprised by her admission of being introverted, jokingly told her, "Don't say that anywhere."

Regarding the announcer examinations, she stated, "I thought I wouldn't do it if I failed," and mentioned that she finally passed the KBS exam after a year. Choi gained diverse experience, including roles as a reporter, radio DJ, and in World Cup programs, before transitioning to freelance work in 2002.

When Huh Young-man asked about her anchoring experience, Choi expressed her regret, saying, "I've never been able to do that one thing." She confessed her admiration for news presenters and her desire to be one, but lamented the lack of opportunities.

Choi Eun-kyung debuted as a KBS 22nd class announcer in 1995. She was widely loved for her bright and witty hosting style. She is currently active as a freelance broadcaster, appearing on various entertainment shows.
